I knew our chances of having the meeting go well were increased with her presence and knowledge. But I was not prepared which was unlike me. But I didn’t want to hide it or act as if I was more prepared than I was, so I put it out there.

Why I wrote Four-Days-To-Change

On a more personal level, I also feel the need to continue my own journey by writing as a way to further my authentic voice in diversity and inclusion work. The deep personal sharing and the 12 mindset shifts that occur in the book are examples of taking my voice forward. Four Days To Change is the book I always wanted to write, from a passionate, humble, authoritative, vulnerable voice.
