Amalia Alarcón Morris

Amalia has partnered with WMFDP for over 14 years as a senior consultant, working with government jurisdictions across the west region to dismantle institutional racism. She spent over 35 years working with underserved and under-engaged communities to improve access to community services, healthcare and the political process. Amalia became invested in diversity and inclusion efforts after witnessing poignant discrimination against her mother while applying for disability assistance, and she has become a strong advocate for justice and Latinx culture. During her schooling, Amalia studied theater and communications at the University of Miami.

Todd is passionate about tapping the tremendous human potential in organizations and communities, and supporting leaders in building diversity & inclusion. Todd began his career as an organizational consultant, coach and facilitator over 20 years ago, and facilitated public initiatives on diversity as a local government leader, city manager and consultant. Today he focuses on working with executives in the private, non-profit and public sectors to sharpen leadership skills –helping them use their power to help others be seen and heard.

Faith Cohen is an executive coach to leaders at fast-growth startups. With training in neuropsychology and 30 years in the clinical field, Faith has mastered the ability to fuel real and palpable change for people to become high-performing leaders by using cutting-edge science and courageous compassion. Faith comes to WMFDP to continue her journey in learning, teaching and growing herself and others to become inclusive leaders who build diverse partnerships.

Today, her long history of work with individuals and teams translates to focused and accurate assessment of individuals, as well as leadership and management teams. She creatively applies her knowledge to building psychically strong and emotionally intelligent leaders, thinkers, and innovators. 

Faith earned her Ph.D. in Pediatric Clinical Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She went on to receive extensive training in trauma-release techniques (EMDR, Brain Spotting, Somatic Experiencing). Early in her career, she led corporate and training courses for the Outward Bound School.

When not working, Faith enjoys being in the natural world on foot, ski or boat, getting dirty in her ceramics studio and spending time with her diverse family in Oregon.

As a DEI (diversity, equity & inclusion) practitioner, consultant, and educator, Keith Blocker is highly respected and much sought-after for his work as an instructional designer and facilitator. His experience includes partnering with organizations and government entities seeking to promote equity in business practices and decision-making; increase workforce productivity; attract diverse talent to key positions; design effective communications strategies for engaging diverse groups and improve workplace culture.

An experienced DEI thought leader and strategic planner with professional experience as an elected official, Keith has successfully designed and initiated results-oriented leadership and workforce development DEI-focused programs, workshops, trainings, dialogues, and discussion processes that encourage cultural competency, awareness and understanding as well as community-building across differences that inspire organizational growth and progress.

When not busy with work, Keith enjoys reading and writing poetry, traveling and spending quality time with his family.

Anakha Coman is a proven and seasoned inclusive leadership facilitator and DEI strategist. She brings wisdom and an understanding of cultural and behavioral change to conversations about race, gender and class. She connects deeply with leaders, attuned to the personal and organizational capacities necessary for leaders to step into to drive and sustain real change. 

Anakha has over 30 years of in-depth experience in corporate culture, organizational change  and teaching mindfulness and inspiring innovation within individuals, teams, and leaders. She’s worked extensively with The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Intel, Nike, Microsoft, Eli Lilly, McCain Foods and Zappos. Anakha holds a master’s in organizational psychology and leadership development, a master’s in divinity and a professional certificate in spirituality, health and medicine. She is a certified mindfulness and embodiment practitioner and Unpack Biases Now facilitator.

Jacqueline is focuses on the intersection of race and gender and has worked with organizations to increase communication and diversity. As an African-American woman, psychologist, and experienced counselor, Jacqueline uses her unique insight to support WMFDP consultants, as needed, during their facilitations. She is trained in individual counseling from humanistic, behavioral, and cognitive points of view as well as being experienced in group facilitation and consultation. Jacqueline was formerly director of the Counseling Center at Amherst College. She graduated from Merrimack College and has her doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Massachusetts.

Alan joined WMFDP in January of 2020. With more than 20 years experience, he is a passionate facilitator, speaker, and coach with diversity and inclusion projects all over the globe. His mission is to support leaders and clients to become more connected with themselves, their environment, their visions and their teams. As diversity is part of his personal DNA, Alan has been involved in many local and global diversity projects throughout his life. From local social artistic projects with all kinds of minority groups (culture, social class, age, gender, etc.) to organizing the Belgian LGBTQ+ Pride with his team for over 100,000 people as well as facilitating senior management, middle management and employees towards an inclusive work environment for major global companies. Alan is also well known as a personal coach of intercultural communication and acculturation of expats in their new environment. He speaks Dutch, French and English.

Stephanie works directly with prospective and long-term clients to create partnerships that are meaningful and effective. After two stints with AmeriCorps programs, six years serving in public schools, and most recently eight years working with local businesses around sustainable business practices and social impact, Stephanie comes to WMFDP with expertise in client management around corporate responsibility. With a BA in History and a Masters in Teaching, Stephanie holds a deep belief that we can learn from our past and move to the future with acquired knowledge and tools to improve how we live and work together. Stephanie aims to continue to learn about the world through experiential and volunteer-based travel, as well as through the eyes of her two little kids. She bikes for purpose (to get to work) and runs for fun!

Donna has worked as a consultant for over 30 years. Her current work is focused on building cultures where we can all grow and thrive by creating change processes to remove prejudice and discrimination between individuals and within groups and organizations. Donna studied organizational development at the American University Washington, DC, and psychology and zoology at Miami University in Ohio. She is passionate about promoting inclusion, peace, harmony and love, and creating A Ray of Hope Shines Forever™ playroom in a children’s hospital.

Ryan Auslander is our Account Manager and Executive Assistant to Bill Proudman. He joined WMFDP | FDP Global in September 2020 originally as a technical producer for virtual programs. They have a BS in Information Technology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Ryan has become incredibly impassioned with issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion through the work they did as a technical producer and continues to show that passion as Account Manager. He believes that he will never be finished with his learning journey as a full diversity partner, and becomes more interested in that pursuit of knowledge daily.

He loves to hike and has a passion for traveling, especially when it involves the ocean! When out of the office he’s typically an avid enjoyer of various video, card, and board games, especially games that bring people together.

After spending a decade in education serving marginalized youth and BIPOC communities, David transitioned into a full-time career as a DEI coach, consultant and facilitator. He has served as an active member on DEI leadership teams and facilitated workshops and caucus groups focused on eliminating structural, institutional and systemic barriers within organizations. David’s work centers on helping others to further explore the subtle and insidious ways in which structural racism, toxic patriarchy and colonial culture impact our own ability to experience compassion, empathy and humility – ultimately stunting our growth and hindering our ability to be a part of a more collective society.

Geneva Greene is a passionate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) facilitator and educator. She spent more than a decade in Communications and DEI at a Fortune 100 company. Geneva earned bachelors degrees in Sociology and Public Relations from the University of Georgia. She completed an MBA with Marketing and International concentrations at Southern Methodist University and is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Geneva is pursuing a Ph.D. in Communications, Culture and Media Studies at Howard University.

Mark is highly skilled at helping clients clarify and align their mission, vision and values. He creates results-driven structures and processes for organizational growth as well as helping companies develop effective strategies and teams. Mark has authored or co-authored several books and articles on experience-based learning and has designed and led leadership and team development courses for clients globally. He has developed and taught graduate level teacher training programs at Boston University, Indiana University, and Portland State University. He recently designed and facilitated a course on leadership at the Singapore Management University (SMU). Mark has a master’s and doctorate degree from Boston University and a bachelor degree from the University of Utah.

Mariko Helm is our Experience Design Manager. She joined WMFDP in December 2020 to craft programs and oversee curriculum and innovation. She has a BA in Psychology from Whitman College and an MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. Prior to joining WMFDP, Mariko managed projects advocating for health resources for recent immigrants, expanding access to financial services in Tanzania, combating misinformation on polio vaccines in Pakistan, addressing homelessness in Seattle, improving education in Guatemala, and promoting corporate sustainability through change management initiatives. 

Mariko is passionate about making the world a better place for everyone. She is an avid hiker, scuba diver, and self-described food nut. On weekends you’ll find her playing with her pup Ellie and researching the best croissants within driving distance.

Barry Holman

Barry  Holman has partnered with WMFDP since 2020. As a researcher, teacher, service provider, administrator, advocate, consultant and coach he has been deeply involved in eliminating society’s reliance on prisons and other institutions to deal with social problems and the disastrous effects this has had on communities of color. His research and commentary have appeared in multiple media outlets in the US and abroad. 

Barry is also an internationally recognized leader in inclusive sport. In 2009 he co-founded Athletes Without Limits to create pathways, opportunities and support for US athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their highest potential in sport and life. Barry was elected Secretary General of Virtus: World Intellectual Impairment Sport in 2013 and works closely with partners including the International Paralympic Committee and United Nations. In 2017 he coached Sean O’Rourke, the first athlete with an intellectual impairment to complete an Ironman Triathlon.

Regardless of who he is working with, Barry’s approach is to always try to be strength-based, collaborative and inquisitive while embracing the support/challenge paradox towards his own and other’s growth.

Abigail supports our client experience team in the areas of program logistics and process flow. She recently joined WMFDP in January 2020. Prior to starting at WMFDP, she worked as an office manager in a business and technology consulting firm supporting client delivery and employee experience. While there, Abigail facilitated training on uncovering unconscious bias and promoting inclusion in the workplace. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Theology at Biola University. When not in the office, Abigail enjoys cooking, daily exercise, spending time outdoors, and discovering new places/activities with her partner and young daughter.

Cliff has consulted with a broad range of organizations for over 25 years. His work includes, leadership development, team building, supervision, conflict resolution, group facilitation and nonprofit board development. He’s worked with hundreds of organizations and thousands of leaders in building strong effective organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Services and Public Affairs from the University of Oregon with a focus on community education and Social Psychology. Cliff is a recipient of the Nordstrom’s Diversity Award. He has a long standing connection with the Nonprofit Association of Oregon and is co-founder and key consultant of their diversity, equity and inclusion capacity building program.

Ethan earned a BS in biology from Bates College and an MSEd in educational leadership from Bank Street Graduate School. Rachel supports our Client Services and Finances departments and the operation of the office. She first joined our team through a temp agency in February 2018, and in mid-April came aboard full time. Rachel has a BA in visual arts from the University of Chicago and an MBA in finance/risk management and insurance from Georgia State University. Prior to joining WMFDP, she worked with refugees in Atlanta, served as a civilian in the Air Force and volunteered with an AmeriCorps team to support diverse communities throughout the southeastern United States. Outside the office, Rachel enjoys trying out alternate ways to travel the city without her car.

Mary is a business change consultant and executive coach who has been working with executives from Fortune 500 companies in leadership positions for 15 years. In her work Mary draws upon psychology to create effective communication and team development strategies. She works with individuals and teams to open pathways for bringing heart, deeper purpose, passion and true calling into their lives and work. She was involved in groundbreaking research on women and leadership in higher education and was on the faculty at State University of New York at Albany, where she taught psychology, program design, evaluation and research methodology.

With over a decade of experience working with various institutions to dismantle systemic racism, Maria Martinez deeply understands compounding layers of structural advantages and disadvantages and how that connects to personal, interpersonal and team work. Maria is skilled in translating complex issues into approachable, actionable steps for leaders to take to achieve workplace equity.

In addition, Maria has worked with local and state government agencies to streamline their policies and eliminate racial disparities in the communities which they serve, including for the Georgia House Caucus as their Deputy Director of Caucus Services. During her time, Maria lobbied for government responsibility, economic security, women’s rights, and educational opportunity for all of Georgia’s citizens. Maria attended George Mason University, where she majored in Government and International Affairs.

Rianna joined WMFDP in 2018, bringing 40+ years’ experience in providing training, education, program design and facilitation and OD consultation in various sectors. Her work focuses on power dynamics in social systems, with a particular focus on undoing racism, sexism and other systems of oppression. She holds a master’s degree in OD and a PhD in human and organization systems from Fielding Graduate University. She is also a Track Champion with WIN Insights, a 20-year member of NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science and an adjunct faculty at Georgetown University.

Jo Ann is a WMFDP co-founder, today serves as an executive coach and senior organization development consultant, passionate about inspiring courageous leadership, dialogue work and designing transformative learning sessions. She has more than twenty years of experience in executive coaching and development. Her corporate career spanned engineering, information technology and organizational development. Engineering management taught Jo Ann to lead large organizations and maximize gender as a leadership competency. Her Integral Coaching practice focuses on courageous leadership, team development, executive coaching and organizational development. Through teaching thoughtful learning application she produces remarkable enterprise-wide results. Jo Ann is currently working towards a doctorate in Human Development with a concentration in Transformative Learning and Social Justice.

Janese joined WMFDP in 2018 after retiring from the Exelon Corporation, where she had served as the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion. She led a small team in partnering with business leaders, HR teams, and employee resource groups to increase the diversity of the workforce and create an inclusive environment. Under Janese’s leadership, Exelon Corporation was recognized as one of the DiversityInc Top 50 companies for diversity and inclusion two years in a row. In the course of Janese’s career in Human Resources, she has held roles of increasing responsibility at CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and Black and Decker.

Wayne Pignolet pairs his expertise as a senior consultant in the safety industry to the world of inclusive leadership, drawing strong parallels for how a safe workplace is an inclusive workplace and teaching the skills of inclusive safety for all. 

Additionally, Wayne brings 33 years of experience leading companies large and small in a variety of industries to his work overseeing WMFDP | FDP Global’s operations. In Wayne’s role as VP of Operations he is responsible for finance, HR, Client Services, and Business Development. Wayne also consults for WMFDP | FDP Global, in addition to the five years he was a senior consultant for Balmert Consulting.

Wayne grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and received his BA in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1982 and a Masters of Business from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management in 1988. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and sailing.

Meiloong “Mei” Ratz (She/her) grew up among the Wind River Mountains. She traced out her love for creating connections on worn-out topographic maps and discovered a knack for problem-solving after frequently shooting her hand into the air to ask the hard questions. 

Some years later, and armed with a degree in Communication Design, Mei has worked with clients such as Pitch Engine, The Impact Investment Center, NOLS, and Moementum inc. She is the creator of the brand Nervous Means Do It. She has also won awards with the National Geographic and the Young Photographer’s Alliance and is often recognized for her courageous pursuit of insightful content creation, efficient team building, and social justice initiatives.

More recently, Mei spends her time working alongside Moe Carrick, where she passionately tackles topics such as leadership, fit, and D&i. When asked about her dreams in life, Mei might get a far-away look in her eye as she describes a world with equality, an unlimited travel budget, and great water pressure.

For over 15 years, Em has been passionately creating experiences that have empowered thousands of people to grow into better leaders, colleagues, partners, parents, friends, etc. She consults to top organizations to build more inclusive cultures and coaches motivated individuals to more courageously bring forward their unique strengths and to connect to purpose. Em has spent a decade focused on women’s leadership and has worked to solve the challenges faced by leading organizations (how to retain, develop and advance women) as well as digging deep into how to truly thrive as a woman and as a leader. 

Em grew up in Toronto, Canada. and she’s lived in Asia for 15 years, where she is recognized as a true pioneer in her work around inclusion. She’s been based out of Beijing, China but is currently in Bali, Indonesia. “I came here for a brief sabbatical at the end of 2019 to write a book, and have since settled in given the global pandemic. It’s been a great opportunity to work in new ways and with new people and has only added to my already unique approach to motherhood and how I integrate work and life. I’m delighted at how helpful and refreshing women have found it as we all navigate during Covid-19.”

Rich has spent the bulk of his career facilitating large-scale culture change within the manufacturing, healthcare and conservation industries. He took a break from that career in 2000 to pursue an interest in medicine. After two years of pre-med, he decided to major in biology and head toward teaching high school biology. Life intervened and he helped raise his grandson instead. He re-entered his consulting and facilitating career two years ago, now with the focus of diversity and inclusivity. In his free time, Rich enjoys creating sculptures from bones he finds while hiking in the mountains.

Tom Schiff partnered with WMFDP in April 2019. He has over 35 years of experience as consultant and educator with organizations ranging from small local non-profits to the National Football League. Tom is the founder and director of Phallacies, Inc., an organization that engages men in critical intersectional conversations and direct action to challenge unhealthy mainstream ideas of masculinity and foster physical and emotional health and community well-being. He holds an Ed.D. in Organization Development from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he continues to serve as an adjunct faculty.

Pam joined WMFDP in 2001. She studied psychology, philosophy, teaching and educational administration at Oregon State University, Portland State, and Lewis and Clark College. While in college, she noticed that women of color weren’t “allowed” to pledge or join sororities, and she spent those years marching against the Vietnam War and trying to understand issues of diversity and the law. Even now, she knows there’s a lot to learn and a lot that doesn’t make sense. On a daily basis, she reads, notices, has conversations about and sometimes intervenes when issues of diversity and inclusion arise. Pam is also very passionate about travel, health issues, relationships and working with children and adults.

Juan is an award-winning educator and an advocate with a decade of experience working at the intersection of education, policy, and social justice. He is the founder and CEO of Spectrum Equity Solutions, an organizational change management firm seeking to catalyze growth in and impact of organizations. Spectrum Equity partners with a range of identities to equip them with the passion and tools necessary to strengthen organizational empathy and impact.

Prior to his work as a consultant, Juan served as the Gulf/Delta Regional Manager for the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE). There he worked with jurisdictions in the region to apply a racial equity framework to their operations by designing and facilitating workshops for local government leaders. Juan also supported the GARE Network Arts and Culture Work Group whose mission is to build critical infrastructure and connective tissue for Arts and Cultural Affairs offices across the country, in order to move cultural narratives in more racially equitable directions.

Before GARE, Juan served as the New Orleans Regional Director of the Urban Leaders Fellowship, a public policy fellowship aimed at organizing high-impact projects for partner organizations and public policy proposals for elected officials. He also founded a flagship program for New Orleans high school students that has since operated as an engine for youth civic engagement and social responsibility, connecting students to the mayor and other community leaders.

Juan works in his current capacity as an international racial equity consultant from his home in Mexico City. He continues to partner with people and organizations that pursue racial equity and community engagement across the Gulf region and beyond.

Juan holds a B.A. in Political Science from Dillard University and an M.S. in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University.

She brings her ability to manage multiple priorities with the attention to detail that is important for a project’s success and a successful client experience. 

With over 20 years of experience as a seasoned assistant to start-up founders, entrepreneurs and senior executives in NYC, San Francisco and Portland, Kristin came to WMFDP with an eclectic work history and a passion for creative expression and community wellness. She has worked in diverse industries such as real estate development, finance, alternative health, mental health, education and the performing arts, and has trodden unconventional paths that include hospice and teaching mindfulness practices in underserved communities. Kristin received a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric and communication from the University of Oregon and a Master of Fine Arts in dramatic arts from The New School.

Born and raised in Colombia, Mauricio has been working in the United States as a filmmaker and media creative for nearly two decades, much of which was spent in broadcast television, developing communications strategy for underrepresented communities. He works with national organizations in both in the private and governmental sectors trying to find relevance and impact in an increasingly multicultural landscape. He is the founder of Valadrian Creative & Consulting, a firm specialized in DEI communications, and is a fierce advocate for Outdoor Equity. Currently he serves as board chair for Hike it Baby, a national Nonprofit with over 360 chapters across the  U.S. helping families with young children from all backgrounds to build community across difference on trail. He also serves as vice-chair for The Oregon Conservation and Recreation Advisory Committee. As a first-generation immigrant he brings a lived-in perspective of the challenges, blind spots, and tangibility of systemic disadvantage.

Gwendoline is our Director of Marketing. She joined WMFDP | FDP Global in May 2019 to further develop our communications and outreach efforts. Gwendoline draws from her bicultural upbringing, studies in anthropology and journalism, work experience in advertising and communications, and leading a nonprofit to advance WMFDP’s mission of creating more inclusive and diverse workplaces. Gwendoline has long been passionate about creating a better tomorrow for everyone, looking at how we shift ourselves and our culture to include the diversity of voices, ideas and representations necessary for a vibrant future for us all. In her spare time, Gwendoline loves to play outdoors and explore different corners of the globe.

Jayla Watje has been educating for over sixteen years in various roles from classroom teaching in Baltimore and abroad, to leading large-scale learning and development initiatives at the local and state level. She now resides in Tacoma, Washington where she also volunteers for many LGBTQ+ community organizations as well as serving as the Board President at the Rainbow Center. She did undergraduate work at Morgan State University and went on to earn a M.Ed in Urban Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her experiences coming from an economically disadvantaged family, living as an out LGBTQ+ person, and living and working closely within marginalized communities drive her extreme passion for equity and anti-racism. This is the passion that led her to partner with WMFDP in this important work. In her free time, you can catch Jayla planning her next travel adventure, gardening in the sun or being active in local adult sports leagues.

In 1995, Michael partnered with Bill Proudman to co-found White Men as Full Diversity Partners (WMFDP), and for thirty years has worked extensively with organizations around the world to grow courageous leadership skills, transform conflict, and create cultures of full inclusion.

Michael is the author of the book, Four Days To Change: 12 Radical Habits to Overcome Bias and Thrive in a Diverse World. The book is based on 20 years of pioneering workshops engaging white male leaders and building leadership skills. Earlier in his career Michael facilitated interracial team-building with over a dozen South African corporations in his work with Outward Bound. His research on how white men learn about diversity led to founding WMFDP.

Mark partnered with WMFDP in 2018, and is known for his unique ability to integrate conceptual frameworks, research and diagnostics with web-based tools and multimedia in his facilitation work with organizations, teams and small groups. He is the founder and co-creator of WIN Insights and has conducted over 200 diversity training presentations. Mark is a highly regarded thought leader, consultant, coach, public speaker and author of five books, including the best-selling book entitled “The 10 Lenses, Their Guide to Living and Working in a Multicultural World.” He has conducted extensive research in the field of identity and diversity with leading firms such as Gallup, Zogby, Harris and Survey USA. Mark holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology from the American University.
