Systemic Intersections: Steps Towards Societal, Organizational and Personal Change
WMFDP joins Color Magazine for an important discussion on “Systemic Intersections: Steps Towards Societal, Organizational and Personal Change.”
Date
Friday, March 26, 2021 at 9 am PST / 12 pm PST (90 minutes)
Session Description
In the last year alone, diversity and inclusion programs have gone from near extinction to being heralded as a must-do for all organizations. They’ve braved a pandemic, social unrest and political whiplash, delegitimized by the Trump administration only to be center stage in the Biden-Harris administration.
Those leading diversity and inclusion programs today are faced with a daunting task: On the one hand, they have to lay the foundational groundwork necessary to steer us towards greater inclusion and equity. On the other hand, they have to stay conscious of societal tensions and be ready to flex as winds shift.
In this webinar, we ask: What are the foundational elements necessary to create change? Can we turn turbulence into an asset and opportunity to better reach our vision of inclusivity and equity?
